Thushari Jayasekera is an American actress-writer and performance artist of South Asian origin.
Thushari Jayasekera has been a red carpet host and a writer for Diversity News Magazine and Red carpet host for Diversity News TV in the past.
Last November 5, 2016 Thushari did interviews of the top pageant contestants and judges on the red carpet at Diversity Pageants Crowning Ceremony held at the Performing Arts Education Center in Agoura Hills, CA.
Her breakthrough role was as Pinky in NBC Universal sitcom, Outsourced, which aired for one season in 2010-2011. She was in the pilot episode of Don’t Trust the B* in Apt. 23 & in an episode of special Netflix reboot of Arrested Development in 2013. She had portrayed the female lead in several stage dramas in the local Los Angeles area performing in venues such as the Duarte Performance Arts Center, the Barnsdall Gallery, and the La Mirada Performance Center.
Thushari Jayasekera did the role of BabyLoon in the series Moonbound24. Thushari, also, creates independent experimental comedic and thought provoking content. Her most controversial piece of 2016 was called the Hated Moderate. She has created three TV show treatments/ideas to develop.
